"We have been coming to PV for years and never tried Masa Madre until today. This place is a must try if you like sourdough pizza, Tiramusu, arugula salad and an ice cold beer. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, and it’s not fancy, but if you want some really tasty good food, it is a must try!!!!"

"Masa Madre is one of those places that surprises you in the best way. I ordered octopus with olive oil and potatoes, which honestly doesn’t sound that exciting on paper. Somehow, it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked octopus, tender, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. One of those dishes that makes you pause and say, okay, I was wrong. The food is thoughtful, simple, and confident. Nothing overdone, nothing trying too hard. Just really good ingredients treated well. Warm space, relaxed vibe, and excellent food. If you’re in Puerto Vallarta, this place is worth it. And if something sounds unusual, trust them."

"I’m gonna get the bartender in trouble hahah. Ask her to make you Spanish Tinto de Verano! She makes it better than Spanish. Incredible I’m not even talking about the food. I feel like I’m in Italian heaven."

"Lovely little restaurant with an amazing menu. The Aperol margarita is to die for I had a starter and a pizza and the quality was fabulous .. flavours were so delicious. What stands out is the service .. top tier.. kind and attentive. Put this spot on your list of must try restaurants in PV .. trust me it’s a gem You will not be disappointed ."

"Convenient spot right on the corner, central 5th of December. Odd flooring, it was like gravel, made me think of kitty litter. The service was excellent and the food really good, fresh and decent sized portions. I gave them a 4 because 1 person in our group ordered a wine and when he got his glass there was maybe 1 oz in the glass?? The server took care of it once she understood the problem but wasn't a great way to start. Its too bad as everyone was so friendly and the food was excellent. Will definitely go back and try again!"

"A great find! Quaint and comfortable hidden gem by the coast, near historic downtown Puerto Vallarta. The pizza was fantastic, reminded us of Napoli, Italy, and the service was top notch. Highly recommend!"
